Boullier carrying out Team Principal role
– Eric Boullier has explained that he is effectively carrying out the role of Team Principal at McLaren. The Frenchman, who is present at this week's pre-season test in Bahrain, was announced in the brand-new position of Race Director at the end of last month, shortly after he tendered his resignation at Lotus. When asked by Sky Sports if his new role mirrors that of a Team Principal, Boullier responded: "Yes, it is definitely a Team Principal role on-track and off-track I have to focus more on the performance of the team."
