Renault has to take risks Taffin
Renault's head of trackside operations Remi Taffin says the engine manufacturer has to take risks if it wants to be prepared for the first race of the season.Renault-powered teams struck more reliability issues on the first day of the final test in Bahrain, completing just 154 laps between the four teams. While Taffin is confident that progress has been made since the second test, he admitted the approach it is having to take in order to try and catch up is far from ideal.Asked if further steps had been made ahead of the final test, Taffin replied: “Yes, definitely.“We've seen this morning that we still have some more stuff in from what we had on the dyno but it's still difficult...
