Chilton 'feeling optimistic' following final day of winter testing

Max Chilton is 'feeling optimistic' ahead of the 2014 Formula 1 season opener in Australia and expects the Marussia F1 Team to be in a good position. The Brit completed 61 laps at the wheel of the MR03 on the final day of winter testing and was encouraged by the mileage achieved. The car suffered a few small issues on Sunday but overall it was a positive session. 'Given that we’ve had a few little issues today, I’m quite encouraged by the 61 laps that we did achieve and the positive note on which we’ve ended the day,' he said.
