Di Montezemolo: Ferrari plight very painful

– Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has described the team's current struggles as "very painful". The Italian marque struggled amid severe tyre degradation and slow straight-line speed at the Bahrain Grand Prix, with drivers Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen having to settle for respective ninth and 10th positions. "I don't like seeing Ferrari in this condition," explained di Montezemolo, whose team has slipped to fifth in the Constructors' standings.
