Smedley calls for more Williams development

Williams head of vehicle performance Rob Smedley has called on the team to develop the car quickly ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix. The Chinese Grand Prix last weekend was Smedley's second race working for the team, and saw Felipe Massa miss out on points due to a pit stop error while Valtteri Bottas finished in seventh place. Smedley said he would be looking to ensure Williams is working to progress where it needs to most urgently, especially with most teams looking to introduce major upgrades in Barcelona. “Part of what I need to do is make sure that we're attacking the right areas first,” Smedley said. “Because you could just run in and attack every single area that you see, but...
