Hamilton relieved to beat Rosberg

Lewis Hamilton says he had to drag "everything and more from the car" to beat team-mate Nico Rosberg in Saturday's Spanish GP qualifying. Rosberg had the edge over his team-mate throughout the first two segments as Hamilton struggled with the balance of his W05. The Brit, though, was able to wrestle that extra bit of pace out of the car when it mattered most, crossing the line with a 1:25.232. Taking pole position by 0.168s over Rosberg, Hamilton will start from the coveted grid slot for the fourth time this season.
