Alonso annoyed by lack of praise from Ferrari

Fernando Alonso has welcomed comments from the head of Mercedes-Benz, Dieter Zetsche, whilst admitting to being annoyed by the lack of praise from within Ferrari. The Spaniard was described as "perhaps the best driver" on the grid by Zetsche during a visit to Spain. Reacting to the comments, the Ferrari driver said: "It's always welcome when people see your job in a good way and respect what you try to do and what you try to achieve." However he admitted it was strange that praise generally comes from outside of his "inner circle", hinting that Ferrari aren't recognising his talent.
