Upbringing makes me hungrier than Rosberg - Hamilton
Getty Images Enlarge Lewis Hamilton thinks his more humble upbringing makes him hungrier for world title success in 2014 than Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg. The contrast between the pair's lives before motorsport is notable; Hamilton was brought up on a council estate in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, while Rosberg, the son of 1982 world champion Keke, was raised in Monaco and attended elite European schools. "Let me tell you this, I come from a not-great place in Stevenage and lived on a couch in my dad's apartment," Hamilton is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail and the Independent.
