Surtees parade to highlight local fun day

Fans of motorsport on both two and four wheels will get the chance to spy some rarely-seen machinery this coming Monday [26 May] as John Surtees brings out a selection of his cars and bikes to support a local event. Still the only person to have won world championships on both two and four wheels, Surtees will be supporting the annual Edenbridge Fun Day, marking the relationship his business has had with the town for the past 56 years. The day will celebrate his individual motorsport achievements, as well as those of Team Surtees, which gained worldwide success by winning American and British championships with its Formula 5000 cars, as well as the 1972 European F2 title.
