Haas: It was hard to delay entry until 2016

Gene Haas reveals the reasoning behind the decision to defer his team's F1 entry until 2016, whilst admitting he will be in Montreal to learn from his future rivals.Having been given the green light in April, last week Haas revealed that he has opted to defer his team's entry by a further year. However, while sceptics claim that this suggests another F1 pipe dream and point to the US F1 debacle, Haas says that building a team from the ground up takes time and that he wants to go about this the right way.'The plan is absolutely to launch in 2016 and we are fully committed to that,' he told Christian Sylt in an interview for Forbes.
