Vettel told to ‘raise his game’

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel was told to 'raise his game' by his team while struggling earlier this season. Red Bull motorsport adviser Helmut Marko told Vettel after the Chinese Grand Prix in April to forget his complaints about his car and the new rules and adapt his driving. Marko, 71, told BBC Sport: 'I told him: 'There are 50 engineers working on this engine and they can't sort it out. ''You're a top driver, it's up to you. You have to do it.'' He added: 'He is four-time world champion and if he can't sort out the car the easiest thing is the driver. He has to raise his game.'
