Alonso agrees with Montezemolo criticism of F1

Sutton Images Enlarge Fernando Alonso says he agrees with Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo that the new era of Formula One needs to be improved for fans of the sport. Last week Montezemolo called for a crisis meeting to correct the "wrong turn" taken by F1, a reference to the new regulations for 2014, which he hopes will steer the sport in a different direction. Alonso feels similar to his Ferrari boss and thinks the exciting spectacle in Canada is something the sport should strive for on a regular basis.
