Toro Rosso, Renault cleared over pre-season test

Toro Rosso and Renault have been cleared over any wrongdoing during an indoor pre-season test at Austria's AVL facility. The FIA was forced to act after an anonymous source informed the governing body that it believed either Red Bull or Toro Rosso had been involved in a full-scale six day wind-tunnel test with Renault. Had that been true, the test would have fallen foul of the regulations. Whilst full-scale rolling road tests are legal, using wind-tunnel capabilities at the same time isn't.
