Haryanto gets Caterham test run
Caterham has announced that Rio Haryanto will drive for the team on the second day of the Silverstone in-season test. Haryanto has been driving for the Caterham GP2 team so far this season, but has previous F1 test experience from the Abu Dhabi Young Driver Test in 2010 – driving for Virgin – and then for the same team under its current name as Marussia at Silverstone in 2012. Having been confirmed as driving on Wednesday next week following the British Grand Prix, Haryanto said he is keen to get a feel for the new turbo-engined F1 car. “I can't wait to be back in an F1 car and I'm delighted it's with Caterham F1 Team, the senior team to EQ8 Caterham Racing,” Haryanto said. “The...
