Perez expects much stronger Force India

Sergio Perez believes Force India will be “much stronger” in the German Grand Prix than it was at Silverstone. While Nico Hulkenberg finished eighth in the British Grand Prix, first-lap contact and a lack of race pace limited Perez to 11th place. However, having driven the VJM07 during the in-season test at Silverstone following the race last week, Perez said he expects to be in a much better position in Hockenheim. “It was good to have the chance to understand some of the issues that affected us during the race weekend,” Perez said. “We also tested new aero parts on the car and the team will look at the data to decide whether we use them in Germany.
