Vettel: Upgrade didn't work as planned

– Sebastian Vettel has admitted that an upgrade Red Bull brought to this weekend's German Grand Prix has not worked as planned.Although the team – through Daniel Ricciardo – finished Friday practice as the closest challenger to the Mercedes pairing, it fell behind the Williams drivers and McLaren's Kevin Magnussen in qualifying.The pair will share the third row, with Ricciardo holding the edge."We had an update on the car but it didn't bring us as much as it was supposed to," said Vettel."[The car] was generally better than this morning so I was fairly happy.
