Toro Rosso: The year thus far…
Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has used the half way mark of the 2014 Formula 1 season to deliver a frank half term report of his drivers, team and new era turbo era. Here is his assessment.
On Jean Eric Vergne: 'He has suffered a lot with reliability issues, but when his car was running fine, he delivered good performances. Thanks to his experience he makes an important contribution to the team’s technical development and I’m convinced that there is still more to come from him.'
