Alexander Rossi joins Marussia F1 Team as Reserve Driver

Two weeks after parting company with the Caterham F1 and GP2 Series teams, Alexander Rossi has joined the Marussia F1 Team as their official reserve driver. He will be understudy to Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton. The 22-year-old begins his role this weekend in Hungary, and having driven in some free practice sessions for Caterham in the past two seasons, might be in line for more Friday morning outings with Marussia this season. 'Today is a good day and next step in my Formula 1 career,” said Rossi. “Since my initial discussions with the Marussia F1 Team management, I've felt right at home. I'm looking forward to working with the Team in Hungary and building for the rest of the season....
