Alonso 'risk' almost nets victory

Scuderia Ferrari Fernando Alonso says that Ferrari had no option but to adopt an attacking strategy as they attempted to claim victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Alonso stayed out on Option tyres as the race progressed and held the lead until lap 68 of 70, when Daniel Ricciardo surged through to the head of the field. Alonso nonetheless held second place to claim Ferrari's best result of the season. "[I'm] extremely satisfied," he said. "It's been a tough weekend, a tough season, so this is a nice surprise.
