Kvyat ‘doing a fantastic job’ – Tost
Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost says Daniil Kvyat is “doing a fantastic job” in his rookie season so far. Kvyat was a somewhat surprise choice to replace Daniel Ricciardo at Toro Rosso this year as he was promoted straight from GP3, beating the much-fancied Antonio Felix da Costa to the seat. However, Red Bull's decision has been justified by a string of strong performances, with Kvyat scoring points on four occasions so far this year. While Hungary wasn't his strongest weekend, Kvyat has been praised by his team principal for how quickly he has adapted to F1 despite a tough pre-season for Toro Rosso. “He is doing a very good job,” Tost told the official Toro Rosso website....
