Wolff wants to better first half of 2014

Toto Wolff has set the Mercedes F1 team the goal of improving on its performance in the first half of the 2014 F1 season, in a bid to ensure a championship double. While Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton look set to fight it out for the drivers' title, the head of Mercedes-Benz Motorsport is well aware that cracks in the team's mechanical armour could easily derail its bid for both crowns, and has called for an improvement in reliability and step up in performance to keep both drivers to the fore. “It has been good for the sport to take a break during these past two weeks after an intense start to the season,” he said, “Aside from the demanding schedule which we encounter each and...
