Young Formula One drivers: age is just a number

August 27th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - The hot topic in Belgium was the age of Max Verstappen, who will be 17 years old when he makes his Formula One debut next year. It all began last week when Toro Rosso announced that Verstappen will race for them in 2015 alongside Daniil Kvyat. At 17 years old he will be the youngest ever Formula One driver, smashing the current record of 19 years and 125 days which is held by former Toro Rosso driver Jaime Alguersuari.
