Alonso motivated by tifosi support

Fernando Alonso intends using the support of the tifosi to motivate him as he chases glory at Monza. Despite being the nearest rival to Mercedes in the practice sessions at Monza, Ferrari failed to carry that pace through into Saturday's qualifying. While Kimi Raikkonen's charge came to an end in Q2, Alonso finished qualifying seventh quickest, 1.321s behind pole sitter Lewis Hamilton. The Spaniard, though, is refusing to give up on a chance of success at Ferrari's home race, saying the support of the fans will drive him on. "It's OK," he said after qualifying.
