Pastor Maldonado's stricken car is removed from the circuit in FP2 Sutton Images Enlarge Pastor Maldonado says his FP2 crash in Singapore was a mistake caused by the erratic behaviour of his Lotus on the super-soft option tyre. Maldonado brought out the red flags in the second Friday session after slamming into the wall at Turn 10 while on his second flying lap on the super-soft tyre. Maldonado was was unhurt and says the crash was proof of the unpredictable nature of the super-soft tyre after its first few laps.
