Lotus: We’re much happier with the E22 here

Romain Grosjean completed the first day of practice for the Singapore Grand Prix with a solid tally of 59 laps around the Marina Bay circuit with the twelfth fastest lap time in the second session. Pastor Maldonado ended the day as the fourteenth fastest driver with 38 laps completed, despite an early end to his running after making contact with the barriers.
Alan Permane, Trackside Operations Director – Technical programme notes The first session was predominantly dedicated to aerodynamic assessments with 51 laps completed between both cars and no issues. A new front wing was evaluated on Pastor’s car.
