Loom issue forced Ericsson to miss most of Q1

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   September 20th 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - A loom issue forced Marcus Ericsson to miss most of Q1 in Singapore. The Caterham driver had no telemetry during final practice which mean the team had to change the chassis loom. Ericsson managed to get out in the final five minutes of Q1 and qualified 22nd, 1.8 seconds behind Max Chilton in 21st. “Unfortunately for Marcus, he had no telemetry in FP3 so the team had to change the chassis loom between sessions,” said Cedrik Staudohar, Renault Sport F1 track support leader. “The mechanics did a great job to give him one run in Q1, but...
