Hamilton pleased to recover from early error
– Lewis Hamilton says he was pleased with his recovery after an early error threatened to ruin his final qualifying attempt in Singapore.The Mercedes driver locked up under braking for Turn 1 on the last of his Q3 runs, but did just enough to beat team-mate Nico Rosberg.It marked Hamilton's sixth pole position, and the Mercedes team's seventh front row lockout, of the campaign so far."It was quite an exciting session," said Hamilton after qualifying."To end up the way it did is good for the team.
