Abt swaps F1 dream for Indy test

Daniel Abt fears his dream of racing in F1 is over and is considering a move to the US-based IndyCar series. The 21-year-old GP2 driver, who contested the inaugural round of the Formula E series with Audi Sport ABT, will soon be off to America to test an Indy car. The German will be in action for Andretti Autosport at Barber Motorsports Park having conceded that his dream of racing in Formula 1 could be over. Citing Toro Rosso's signing of 16-year-old Max Verstappen as a sign that F1 is going younger and younger, Abt admitted he also doesn't want to race for a team such as Caterham where he has to pay to lap at the back of the field.
