Vettel: F1 must learn from the events of the Japanese GP

+ Sebastian Vettel says Formula 1 must learn from the events of the Japanese Grand Prix following Jules Bianchi’s accident late in the race to avoid a repeat in the future. Bianchi was transferred to hospital for surgery after he suffered severe head injuries after colliding with a recovery vehicle that was clearing Adrian Sutil’s damaged Sauber from the outside of Turn 7, after the German’s crash on the previous lap. While there were suggestions that the start time of the race could have brought forward in light of the threat of Typhoon Phanfone, the grand prix went ahead as previously scheduled.
