Sirotkin: I'm more than ready for F1 chance
Sauber test driver Sergey Sirotkin says he feels more than ready to step up to a Formula 1 race seat.
The 19-year-old made his F1 race weekend debut in first practice for his home event in Russia, finishing four tenths behind his team-mate Adrian Sutil in 17th place.
He joined the Swiss outfit last July and had his first taste of driving a Formula 1 car in a demonstration run at the Sochi Autodrom two months later. Sirotkin then reached the required F1 superlicense mileage at the 2014 Bahrain in-season test.
