Bottas surprised by Mercedes’ pace at the end of the race

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   October 12th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Valtteri Bottas says he was surprised by the pace of Mercedes at the end of the race. The Finn was passed by Nico Rosberg on lap 31. In the closing laps of the race, on fresher tyres, Bottas tried to take the position back but couldn’t catch him to make the move. Bottas finished third, scoring his fifth podium finish of the year.
