Administrator takes control of Caterham F1

The Caterham F1 Team has announced that it is now being run by its administrator, in a bid to allow the Leafield-based outfit to complete the 2014 season. A number of statements and responses were released between buyers Evangest SA and former owner Tony Fernandes on Thursday. Both claimed that the other party had broken the agreement in place. Staff have been locked out of the team's factory for the last two days by the administrator Finbarr O’Connell, who has now taken over management of Caterham F1 in the hope that the backmarkers can race at the final three rounds of the season in the USA, Brazil and Abu Dhabi.
