F1: Vettel confirms Red Bull blocked early release

Sebastian Vettel has confirmed that Red Bull has blocked him from joining Ferrari early enough to test in Abu Dhabi next month. The final race of the season is followed by a two-day test which could have seen Vettel make his Ferrari debut. However, Vettel confirmed ahead of the United States Grand Prix weekend that he would not be able to drive for another team in Abu Dhabi, with Red Bull having blocked his early release. “Well first of all I'm looking forward to the race here,” Vettel said. “The race weekend here and to enjoy those last races I will have with the team. Obviously we've experienced a lot in the last couple of years so I think it will be a very special moment coming up...
