Race pace the focus for Vettel on Friday
n Vettel already knowing that he will start this weekend's United States Grand Prix from the pit lane, his sole focus on Friday was race preparation.
The four-time champion's Red Bull RB10 will be fitted with a completely new power-unit, with all six elements being replaced ahead of qualifying.
This means he will line up at the end of the pit lane for Sunday's race at the Circuit of the Americas. Vettel was seventh fastest in first practice, before finishing slowest of the 18 runners in the afternoon session.
'It was a different practice today, as we focused on Sunday preparation,' said last year's United States Grand Prix winner.
