Alonso admits Ferrari considered pitlane start

+ Ferrari considered taking an engine change and starting the United States Grand Prix from the pitlane, according to Fernando Alonso. Any driver that uses a sixth power unit component in 2014 will take a grid penalty under the current regulations, prompting Red Bull to change Sebastian Vettel’s entire engine ahead of qualifying, after it became apparent that he would not be able to complete the season without exceeding the limit.
