Ecclestone promises US GP boycott won't go ahead

Sutton Images Enlarge Bernie Ecclestone has given a guarantee that teams will not boycott this weekend's US Grand Prix. Force India, Sauber and Lotus have discussed the possibility of not racing this weekend in order to underline their concerns about the financial stability of the sport. All three are running on relatively small budgets and have long campaigned for a fairer distribution of the sports revenues to help them continue to compete. The sports two smallest teams, Caterham and Marussia, are not present at the US Grand Prix after going into administration and there are concerns more teams could follow over the winter.
