F1: Raikkonen happy with Ferrari changes

Kimi Raikkonen says changes made to his Ferrari after FP1 for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix helped him be more competitive in Friday's second session. Having been 12th quickest and 2.7s off the pace in the opening session, Raikkonen improved to seventh in FP2 and halved the gap to the Mercedes pair at the top of the times. While Fernando Alonso missed the evening session with a reliability issue, Raikkonen said his track time had shown that Ferrari had found a good direction ahead of the race. “It was a very busy day and, particularly in the first session, we struggled a bit to find the right balance on the car,” Raikkonen said. “The programme included various set-up tests and, probably...
