Lynn delighted with maiden Formula 1 test
– Newly-crowned GP3 champion Alex Lynn described his first experience of F1 machinery as "fantastic", after testing for Lotus in Abu Dhabi.Lynn, 21, was just three laps short of a race distance at the end of a packed afternoon programme with the team at the Yas Marina Circuit.The Briton took over the E22 from FIA European F3 Champion Esteban Ocon, who spent a further morning in the car after his practice debut last week."I am very grateful to Lotus for giving me my first opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car and I'm glad I was able to deliver what they wanted from me," said Lynn, who ended the day ninth fastest."It felt so good to be behind the wheel of the...
