Gutierrez joins Ferrari as F1 test and reserve
Esteban Gutierrez has joined Ferrari as the team's test and reserve driver after leaving Sauber. Sauber announced that Gutierrez and team-mate Adrian Sutil would be replaced by Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr in 2015, with Gutierrez himself saying he had opted against continuing negotiations. Now the Mexican has found himself a seat at Ferrari and says he can't wait to get down to work in his new role. “It is an honour to become part of the Scuderia Ferrari family, a Team with such an exceptional history,” Gutierrez said. “It is for me the beginning of a new path for my future and I'm going to do my utmost to contribute to the achievement of the targets set by the Scuderia.
