Rosberg seventh in Sportsman of the Year contest

– Nico Rosberg was only seventh in the German Sportsman of the Year contest.Rosberg took the fight for the 2014 Formula 1 Drivers' title to the wire this season, but in the end had to settle for second behind Mercedes team-mate, Lewis Hamilton.Around 1200 German sports' journalists voted to decide the German Sportsman of the Year.Rosberg got 748 votes, while discus thrower and favourite Robert Harting, who won, polled 2100.Nordic combined skier Eric Frenzel took second with luger and Olympic Champion Felix Loch third with 2555 and 1467 votes respectively.
