F1 shifts start times of five races after Bianchi accident

+ The start times of five Formula 1 races in 2015 have been moved forward as a result of the findings of Jules Bianchi’s accident. The panel, who investigated Bianchi’s Japanese Grand Prix crash which occurred fading light and heavy rain, recommended the start time of F1 events ‘should not be less than four hours before sunset or dusk, except in the case of a night race’. As a result, F1 bosses have opted to shift forward the start of the 2015 Australian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian Grands Prix all by one hour from their previous start times.
