Williams signs Alex Lynn as development driver for 2015

Williams Martini Racing has confirmed the signing of 2014 GP3 champion Alex Lynn as a development driver ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 season. Lynn won last year's GP3 title as a member of the Red Bull junior programme, but was unable to secure a full-time seat in F1 at Toro Rosso, losing out to Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr. The Briton has already confirmed that he will be racing for DAMS in GP2 this season, and will now balance these commitments with a development role at Williams that will see him take part in the first in-season test after the Spanish Grand Prix in May.
