GP3 champion Lynn joins Williams as development driver
Sutton Images Enlarge GP3 champion Alex Lynn has been snapped up by Williams to work as its development driver this year and will test the car following the Spanish Grand Prix in May. Lynn was a Red Bull development driver until the end of the season, but was dropped despite his title-winning year in GP3. At the end of 2014 he tested for Lotus and has also been snapped up by DAMS for a GP2 campaign in 2015. Lynn effectively takes over from Susie Wolff after her promotion to test driver, and alongside simulator work will get behind the wheel of the FW37 during the in-season test in Barcelona.
