Marchionne refuses to get carried away

Despite an impressive performance at Jerez, where drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel ended the four day test first and second on the timesheets, the scarlet cars completing the fourth most mileage (960.2), Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne is keeping both feet firmly planted on the ground. 'I am encouraged by the performance of the new car, but it is one thing to do a quick lap and another to do them over an entire Grand Prix,' he admitted in New York. 'I have so much confidence in the team and the work of the boys and they deserve time,' he added. 'I am proud of their work but we will see when the championship begins in Australia.
