Ferrari expects ultimate proof of pace in Barcelona

Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne has played down Ferrari's impressive start to pre-season testing ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 World Championship, saying its form will only be determined at the upcoming Barcelona tests. Ferrari, which will have four-time champion Sebastian Vettel teaming up with Kimi Raikkonen, stole the headlines during the first F1 test of the season in Jerez, topping three of the four days and emerging 1-2 on the overall timesheets. Though it is generally considered that other teams - notably Mercedes and Williams – were not focusing on lower fuel, faster laps, Ferrari's consistently quick pace caught the eye regardless.
