Mercedes confirms Barcelona schedule

Getty Images Enlarge Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton will kick off Mercedes' testing schedule in Barcelona on February 19. Mercedes compiled a mammoth 515 laps in Jerez earlier this month with the W06 Hybrid it hopes will retain both titles it won last season. Rosberg kicked off proceedings in Jerez but this time Hamilton will conduct testing duties on day one, with the pair alternating for the remaining days. The Barcelona test runs from February 19-22, before the third and final test at the same venue kicks off on February 26.
