Vettel prepared to ignore helmet design change ban
+ Sebastian Vettel says he is prepared to ignore the ban on in-season helmet design changes. Vettel has typically changed his crash helmet design from race-to-race during his Formula 1 career, accumulating a collection of over 60 designs in his years with Toro Rosso and Red Bull. The German’s trend has been followed increasingly by other drivers in recent years, prompting the F1 Commission to limit drivers to just a single design per year, in an effort to make helmet designs more iconic.
