Tost happy with Toro Rosso's preparation
– Toro Rosso Team Principal Franz Tost says he is encouraged by the progress the squad has made across its pre-season testing programme.Toro Rosso racked up over 5000km of running across 12 days of testing with its STR10, enabling rookies Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz Jr. to develop as drivers, according to Tost."We arrived in Jerez exactly a month ago with two rookies and we leave Barcelona with two young drivers who are ready to make their Formula 1 debut," said Tost."They have definitely grown as drivers in a very short time, showing a good learning curve as well as growing in confidence as the days have gone by.
