Ricciardo hoping to save engine

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo says he is hopeful that he can save one of his four engines after technical problems blighted his preparation for the Australian Grand Prix. Ricciardo completed only nine laps on his way to 10th position in the first session and had to sit out second practice while Red Bull carried out a change of power unit. Each driver is permitted only four power units for the entire season and Ricciardo is naturally optimistic that one of the four from his allocation can be salvaged at this early stage in the campaign.
