Hamilton tops FP3 as gremlins hamper Red Bull again
CLICK HERE for the full Australian Grand Prix FP3 results Lewis Hamilton has assumed the initiative heading into qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix as Mercedes maintained its comfortable advantage in FP3 and Red Bull was beset by more technical issues. Having played second fiddle to team-mate Nico Rosberg in FP1 and FP2, Hamilton sprung to the top with just over five minutes of the session remaining courtesy of a tidy 1min 27.867secs benchmark. He was on course to improve it further still, but would opt out of completing the lap.
